BREAKING NEWS: Consumer Spending Unchanged in August

Consumer spending was unchanged last month, coming in lower than the expectation for an 0.1% rise. Consumer spending accounts for more than two-thirds of U.S. economic activity. Personal income increased 0.2%, matching the estimate.
