BREAKING NEWS: Consumer Spending Rose More Than Expected n June

Consumer spending increased 0.4%. Economists had forecast consumer spending rising 0.3% last month. Consumer spending accounts for more than two-thirds of U.S. economic activity. Personal income increased 0.2% in June. That missed the estimate for a rise of 0.3%.
