BREAKING NEWS: August Retail Sales Fall 0.3%

The Commerce Department reports retail sales fell 0.3% last month, compared to expectations for a decline of 0.1%. Excluding the volatile auto component, sales fell 0.1%, compared to views for a 0.2% increase.
